If you had The Russo Brothers announcing a possible “Secret Wars” project during Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel on your bingo card, we have some bad news for you. Hot on the heels of the season 3 finale of Amazon Prime Video’s hugely popular “The Boys,” we have an update on that spinoff series. After some false starts- mostly stemming from changing actors- we’ve got some good news for fans. The collegiate spinoff series will be called “GEN V,” and we’ve got some casting confirmations. After decades of planning, Nintendo has finally acquired their very own animation studio. Dynamo Pictures has produced pieces for Final Fantasy 13-2, Metroid: Other M, and more. An announcement indicates the new venture will be called Nintendo Pictures, once the deal completes. This could be good news for the entertainment giant- having an in-house option for cut scenes. But calling the resulting studio ‘Pictures’ is interesting. Does this possibly point to the company as looking towards animated films? We think it does.Nintendo also acquired SRD Co. We are absolutely delighted to share the official trailer for Rob Zombie’s upcoming film, “The Munsters!” It’s a love story, centering on how Herman Munster meets Lily. Obviously the ghoulish pair fall in love, and become the colorful residents of Mockingbird Lane. Sheri Moon Zombie is Lily, Jeff Daniel Philips is Herman, Daniel Roebuck is Grandpapa. Zombie writes and directs. The film is supposedly hitting sometime in September, 2022.

This just in-according to a recent report, “Solo: A Star Wars Story” star Alden Ehrenreich is heading to a Marvel Studios project. Specifically, the upcoming series based on Marvel Comics character Riri Williams, aka Ironheart!Dominique Thorne will star was Riri, a young girl genius who follows in the footsteps of one Avenger- the late Tony Stark. No word on who Ehrenreich might be playing.
