The delays keep coming! Recently, developer People Can Fly announced that co-op shooter “Outriders” is being delayed. Thankfully, it isn’t all bad news though. Alongside this announcement, the developer also announced a demo of the game coming soon. Originally, “Outriders” was scheduled for launch on February 2. Epic Games has A LOT of money. Thanks to “Fortnite,” they have enough money to essentially do whatever they want. That includes buying an actual mega mall to convert into their new headquarters. This isn’t a joke. Epic Games is actually buying a mall to do just that. The gaming giant recently announced its intentions to purchase the Cary Towne Center complex. This massive mall is 980,000 square-feet and 87 acres. That’s the equivalent size of 50 football fields. Once purchased, the company will begin redeveloping the site immediately. Nintendo is throwing their hat in the acquisition ring! The gaming behemoth has formally announced their intentions to acquire developer Next Level Games. Once complete, the developer would become a “wholly owned subsidiary” of the company. Next Level Games was founded in 2002. Since then, the company has worked with Nintendo on many of their projects. PlayStation is starting 2021 with a bang! The company has announced three free titles for PS Plus members in Janaury 2021. Members can grab “Maneater,” “Greedfall,” and “Shadow of the Tomb Raider.” That’s a whole lot of content to carry players into the new year.
